I would not recommend this location for any mortgage-related services. I went in to request a simple change to my mortgage payments, and the process was handled very poorly. When I followed up to understand why the issue wasn’t fixed, I was told it was due to a “system issue” and that nothing could be done. As a result, I ended up paying additional interest on my mortgage, and their response was essentially, “we can’t help you.” Very disappointing experience with no accountability.
I really liked using this branch for their friendly service. However, the hours are very inconvenient. This branch used to be open on Saturdays and later times during the week. The hours now make it really difficult for those who need to use outside of work hours especially services like safety deposit boxes or FA discussions.
Dear TD Brooklyn Team, thank you for providing the BEST SERVICE within the Whitby branches. I had an unfortunate experience with another branch earlier today. I even called the customer service team and filed a formal complaint, escalated the complaint and spoke with Anzil & their supervisor Taylor, they both heard me, understood my complaint and apologized on behalf of TD, because the teller’s treatment was unacceptable. This branch is very slow at doing anything. They never open on time and took 15 minutes to do a simple transaction.
