BMO offered us a mortgage rate we couldn’t refuse. Called this branch to ask if they could match it because I would have stayed with TD for the next 5 yrs. I believe I spoke to Jennifer who took my information and said a mortgage specialist would call me back. That was 3 weeks ago. Never got a call. So we gave our business to BMO. No decency to attempt to retain a customer means the customer bails. And you lost tens of thousands a year in our interest payments. What a stupid decision TD has made by closing the downtown branch. Went to the only branch available for the entire city of Belleville today on North Front Street. First off, completely inadequate parking. I got the last open spot. People were parked in the laneways blocking anyone from moving as all spots were then taken. There are no public parking lots as options at all near this branch location. Downtown had not only the TD lot available there were many public parking options close to the bank. This branch is terrible, nobody in there can do anything without a manager that’s never available. Customer service here is horrible.
