I went to this branch to get a U.S. dollar (brand new), and then they told me that they needed to place a request for me. After keeping me on hold for 40 minutes and finally making a phone call, they realized they could indeed place the request. When those 40 minutes were up, they told me it would take a week before I could pick up the draft. After one week, they contacted me to say that it was ready and I could come pick it up in two days. This has to be the worst TD branch I’ve ever had the misfortune of visiting. I deposited a cheque here on Monday, the 29th of September. I have been depositing cheques for years with TD and they always lift the hold immediately. I tried to explain this and the lady was very rude and disrespectful. They told me there would be a hold that takes 3-5 business days. I just called to find out the funds won’t be released until October 8th. I can’t speak for the entire team at this branch, but I had the pleasure of working with one of the most exceptional Personal Bankers, Phanes Scotch. I usually feel anxious when dealing with banks, but Phanes completely changed that experience for me. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely passionate about helping others, and honest and welcoming. If there’s anyone you can trust at this branch, it’s definitely Phanes.
