I made an appointment to withdraw RESP funds at this branch, which is also my home branch. This is the 4th year I have been withdrawing from my RESP, and I have always provided the Unofficial Enrolment Verification from the university without any issues. The Unofficial Enrolment Verification letter contains all the required information (university logo, student name, program, etc.). I have been a loyal TD customer for 13 years, with not only a personal account, but also a mortgage, home insurance, TFSA, and other business-related services through TD. I've had a horrible experience with TD, and I'm only 17. I've had this account since Grade 9 and have had to replace my debit card more times than I can count due to fraud and it's not like I'm using sketchy websites. One of the charges was for Grindr, a gay dating app for men. I'm a female and at that time I was young and didn’t even know what grinder was, so not only is that app completely irrelevant to me, but I also can't even legally use it. Spectacularly unhelpful staff at this location. A huge waste of time to try to set up power of attorney with all the correct paperwork on place.
Saturday morning the 8th of March I had a very pleasant experience. Went in to use ATM machine. A gentleman was using it, so the teller asked to help me. Found out her name was Katie. She was extremely friendly and helpful. Very personable and had an easy going disposition. Left with such a high regard and great opinion of Katie, as well as, other staff. A real asset to your team and I hope she gets a tremendous evaluation.
