Now i understand the reviews from this branch, 4.50pm open till 6 4 people working no other customer in sight. 4 people working and you are telling me not one of you is capable of opening another account for an already existing customer? meanwhile apparently i could just go through the steps and open one myself online? So A how hard can it be and B you work at the bank why? maybe time to switch banks or maybe time for TD to clean house in the fort
My account had attempted fraud. They stole a good amount of money. The bank told me there were going to close the account and cover the funds with insurance and I was done with thd problem. 5 months later, they have closed GHEY closed my account and sent the balance to collections. It’s insane they can’t remove my name or find my old records
What I endured today was absolutely devastating, I simply went to this bank to double check a deposit I had put, without any explanation or notice they took the deposit off without my knowledge. I went to ask why and the way the worker treated me was very insulting, and refused me the correct service and left me with an uncertified cheque. I got treated like this was all on me and that I was the one responsible for this when this all happened without my knowledge. Just want to get coin for the store I work at and the manager gives me a hard time saying I have to email her ahead of time which is wierd because I never had to do that before and the total coin is always changing so I can never give an exact amount until the same hour and day that I need the coin. The girls are all friendly but not the manager. I might move my account to a better bank soon. I would expect a bank to have at least 500$ in five dollar bills.
UPDATE 2025: This fall, despite having received mortgage renewal documents from head office that just needed to be signed and returned, as 50 year clients of TD, we tried to sit down at this branch (where we've banked 13 years) to get a bit of a better rate. Instead, they decided we needed to re-qualify for a mortgage RENEWAL for the small amount left on our mortgage.
