I performed a wedding yesterday, and was paid with a check. I went to TD Bank where the check was from. I do not have an account at this bank, and I never will. I needed to show two forms of identification before the woman cash my check. When I receive my money I counted it and I was short seven dollars. I asked where the rest of my money was, and the teller told me that it was a service charge because I didn’t have an account at that bank. Seriously?! The check was from your bank! Legalize thievery! My branch is very friendly and accommodating. I have only had the account a couple months, but I have not had any problems. I would suggest that the bank create some additional alerts, i.e. deposit alerts, unusual activity alerts, etc. Other than that I am happy.
