Avoid starting any sort of account with TD. If at all possible. They refuse to let me change my name due to marriage by any other method then going into a branch which I'm unable to do. I've had no issue changing my name via secure messaging systems on other banking accounts so I don't know why TD refuses to let this happen.
The TD BANK ON 15th and JFK in Philadelphia are criminals thief’s they play with older people with their ssi money I’ve watched them tell a blind couple that they need a id the husband said his wife doesn’t have a id the bank teller walks away from them customers. TD is now on my WORST bank. The Hamilton Branch is so pathetic that I will not go there any more. I tried to get a CD there and they made it so difficult that I decided that they did not want my business so I am taking my money to another bank. Over the next few weeks, I will be closing my TD accounts. Long lines, long wait, and far from convenient and friendly. No star rating. This bank is a criminal enterprise. They withhold all of your deposits and apply all of your debits so that they can charge you overdraft fees and then the supervisors fight tooth and nail and insult you while refusing to return the fees. I “overdrew” by $62 for 5 hours on Friday May 10th and deposited $96 at 9:25 then another $58 on May 11th and $44 on May 13th.
