Rude and unhelpful
Don't waste your time coming here. If your set on banking with TD Bank you're better off going to a different branch. The staff is rude and did not want to help. Came to open a checking account (we all know how simple that is) and was given a million excuses right off bat as to why she couldn't do it (I also had every form of document needed). I left after explaining one to many times that I had the necessary documents and opened an account the same day with a different bank.
We had a very disappointing experience at the TD Bank Normandy branch. From the moment we approached Ms. Sledge’s station, her demeanor felt off. We asked what paperwork was needed to add someone to an account, and she only mentioned “her ID and your debit card.” After providing those, she then said she needed my actual Social Security card. There’s an overwhelming amount of negative reviews for this bank, so I was definitely a bit tentative going in to see if TD was a good fit for my needs. I was pleasantly surprised that not only was the staff personable and welcoming, but the young woman helping me, Ambrosia, went above and beyond to assist me after I was unable to get the bonus I wanted online! All the staff I interacted with were so sweet, it is a clean and welcoming environment, and I’m very happy I gave them a chance :)
