I had an extremely disappointing and disrespectful experience at TD Bank today. I asked to receive $80 in quarters, and instead of simply explaining the bank’s policy, the tellers looked at one another as though my request were unreasonable. One teller then told me, in a rude and condescending manner, that they would process it only “as a courtesy” because customers without business accounts are apparently limited to $50 in coins. Recently move to NYC and tried opening up a bank account. Stopped by twice and provided the documents they asked and was still denied. They asked for an updated lease, had it updated (we use an online platform for documents) and they said they now need the paper form after stating that emailing was okay. We will be banking elsewhere. GET IT TOGETHER! it’s 2025 not everyone wants to print out 30 pages much less own a printer. If you don’t accept E signatures then say that from the start.
