Very disappointing experience at TD Bank. We arrived at the branch approximately an hour before closing and checked in through their system, clearly stating that we were there to open a business checking account. Because the couch/waiting area was full, we were directed to sit near the bank tellers while we waited. I was unable to open a bank account because they were rejecting a document that the IRS states is valid. However, the bank claims that the document is not valid and asserts that they are above the IRS’s authority.

This location has ONE bank teller at 11 AM.. working the drive thru and the lobby. After sending my id through the drive thru, she attends to the lobby customers (3 of them and counting) before doing ONE step at a time for me, in between completing the clients in the lobby. The drive thru is supposed to be quick.. Even if you completed my request after helping someone else, I could understand that.
