Went in to replace a lost card. Banker told me he couldn’t print one because my carrier is Spectrum even though he verified me by phone and text 😂 He said, I’ll have to deal with that same issue at another branch. He was confident. I went to Herald Square, new card in 5 minutes. Spectrum must work better there.
Good bank but the Tellers kind of come off as self absorbed and irritated that we’re not floored by their appearance. Can I just get my damn money please?!
I came in a day early to initiate a wire transfer for the closing of the house. The next day they wait till 2 PM to tell me that they will not release the funds until I come into the branch by 3:00 because their compliance officer has questions, I get into the branch, while I’m supposed to be interviewing job candidates. I arrive, and I’m told that they just needed me to be physically in the bank and that the wire had gone. These people are just trying to jerk you around.
