I have come to this TD bank numerous times and I have had great service every time. My most recent visit Dave, I believe his name was, was my teller. He was professional and answered all my questions. I also came in contact with Elizabeth. She has helped me on more than one occasion and has always been eager to assist me with my needs. This review is long overdue. I had a phenomenal experience at this TD Bank, specifically with Financial Services Representative Tremaine Peterson. He went above and beyond helping my partner and I open an account as the store was closing. Whenever I need to resolve a banking issue, I know I'll be coming back to this branch in hopes of working with Tremaine.
Today 7/28/24 I called this location and spoke with Elizabeth. I needed to have exchange USD for British pounds.. Elizabeth told me that her location had this currency available. I let her know that I was in the Braintree area and her location was far away from me. She took the time to call around to find a location closer to me that has this currency available. She reminded me why I bank at TD bank! She provided fantastic customer service. She was just so pleasant! I was so grateful for her help. She was so amazing!
After an incredibly frustrating ordeal with this TD store, I've decided to share my experience once I've finalized closing my accounts with TD and retrieved my money. I firmly believe that racial bias was a key factor in the poor treatment I received. Detail: For four weeks, I endured what I perceive as discriminatory behavior from this store. Saturday May 18 2024 at 10am I went in to get money out of both my accounts. The new employee was talking to other customers. He took one look at me and decided I was not worth talking too. I said to him "It's because I'm Queer that you won't say hello to me,right?" Then I hear the bank manager talking to somebody about how I'm crazy. Nice real nice. So after 5 years that's how it ends?
