My personal checking account was frozen because a joint acct was overdrawn. The joint acct was closed. My personal checking which was not kinked in any way shape or form had $586+ that was taken as an offset. Now my next pay check was direct deposited $1330+ RD charged me $1 for a paper statement although I use the online banking and have not seen a paper statement (I download from the app if I need one) then charged me $15 main't charge on a direct deposit account. Yesterday my fiancé, whom has a bank account with TD, was told they would not cash his check. However, before him, the female teller cashed every other male and/or females checks without issue until she got to him. The woman was very rude with him, rushed him out of the store, didn’t answer any of his questions and to be perfectly honest, we felt as if he was being treated differently due to the color of his skin. Today a teller brought out bubbles, chalk, and a beach ball when my children were spotted at the ATM with me!! I am always impressed with the customer service.
