I opened an account online and transferred money online. The local office manager called me and set me up with someone to assist with their think or swim platform and to help me along the way. Very happy I am dealing with them instead of all the other choices. Since I am brand new to stocks, I am glad I chose them. Best thing is that I can go into their office and discuss things as opposed to someone in Minnesota or some other far off place. My husband passed away recently and had an account with TD Ameritrade. I am the beneficiary. I was sent some forms to complete but am not familiar with a lot of the terminology, nor the process involved. I called the local branch office and made an appointment with Maureen. She walked me through the process and helped me complete the multiple forms. My thanks to Maureen and to the manager, Bob, who personally called me back in response to the my voice mail asking whether I should make an appointment.
