A few months ago, I received a call from a new manager regarding my family’s accounts, and I told him I would meet him on Monday to introduce myself. When I got there, the three people in the office were all unwelcoming and avoiding helping me for some reason. The room was small and the manager could clearly hear my conversation with the clerk, but didn’t even look at me. Stopped by this branch and they were smug and barely looked up from their computers. I was the only customer in their office and felt as if I was more of an inconvenience than anything else as I was told I “could have completed my business online”.

On the Scottrade website, the guidelines for withdrawing funds is vague at best with limited options and unecessary fees. One of the option is a mailed check that is to be processed the day of request if posted before 1pm. I requested a check withdrawal over the phone with the local branch on Thursday morning around 9 am. They were able to pull up my account and verify all information and told me the check would be processed.
