Thieves !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have two accounts with them. They deny either exist. It's absolutely impossible to reach someone to talk to. As far as I'm concerned, they've stolen $25,000 from me. I'm hiring a lawyer.
Just as other reviews have mentioned, no one ever answers the phone. The system just directs you to the central Client Services line while the guys at the local branch just sit at their desks and play on their cell phones. Every time I call, I have spent over THREE HOURS listening to their horrendous hold music and “We are currently experiencing longer than normal wait times.” Sometimes no one answers the phone at all. Not sure why this is happening, but it is absolutely unacceptable.
I have to agree with the rest of the reviews run from TD Ameritrade. They ruined my entire stock trading learning experience. I am hesitant to ever trade again after what they did to me. I am young as was trying to learn to trade with a small amount of money. They shut my account down for not spending enough money with them. After a million calls I was told sorry you can open a new account if you want but all your past trading info you set up and built to learn from over the years is gone forever!
