TD bank was fined 3 billion for laundring money for a particular group in Mexico in OCTOBER 2024. Stay away from places that are willing to jeopardize the security of thier customers. Shame on you TD Bank.
TD customer experience makes Wells Fargo look good. Most frustrating customer service reps I've ever dealt with. DEALT with. Dealt is defined as to cope with (a difficult person or situation) and you will get both difficult and a situation after dealing with TD. And I didn't choose them; I was forced to deal with them as they bought out an Ally portion of my account. Definitely a poor first, and in my case, last impression.
I was trying to invest and got a notification stating I needed more information. I got a call the next day from your office stating everything was approved. I placed $1000 in my account to trade. I continually got blocked from trading. I called in today only to have David Cooney an employee of yours tell me I could not only trade, but he couldn’t send my monies back to my account. Hideous! Called several times from Santa Fe to make sure they could do what I needed. The Manager never bothered to call back. When I got there, the “whatever” had no idea what he was doing. The manager still couldn’t be bothered and was rude and condescending when I told him his behavior would probably cost TDA 3 accounts. Terrible!
Awesome staff, very helpful to me being a new investor. I was impressed by my visit and enjoyed taking this first step into a new financial journey. Looking forward to trading with Scottrade/Ameritrade in the future!
