The Ormond Beach office of TD Ameritrade/Charles Schawb is the only discount broker with a physical office in Volusia County where you can meet with someone 5 days a week. Everyone is very friendly, helpful and most importantly knowledgeable. My husband and I have had several advisors over the years with different companies. Matthew Pennington is the BEST! We have the utmost confidence in working with him that he has our best interest at heart.
Lookup a location, drive halfhour only to find out this is a satallite office that can not take a bank check deposit. That I would need to drive almost 2 hours north for them to take the check. What a waste of my time! It seems TD Ameritrade customer service is becoming worst as they get larger!
Have been working with these folks for some time. Through all the recent market fluctuations, I have had access to clear advice rooted in my investment goals and access to a rock solid CFP. James Pennington is the guy I go to for perspective and strategic planning.
Donald Wilson at the Ormond Beach office highly recommended a very bad portfolio management company that lost me a ton on money. I assume he did this to get a nice commission. No follow up or apology.
