Been with Scottrade a long while and up till now the service has beem great. However, this past half a year or so their customer service has gone in the crapper. They must have ran off all the nice, respectable people that were working there whom I enjoyed doing business with and they have all been replaced with rude, inconsiderate people. They have just become terrible to work with. I had already learned that Scottrade was one of the worst brokerage houses around by the time I moved to Corpus Christi, TX. But THIS branch convinced me that it was time to move all five of my accounts somewhere else. The branch manager is rude and refused to help me close an account. I had to close the account by mail. Yes, that's right, lick a stamp and write a letter - mail. Unbelievable jerk! Never go to Scottrade. They will loose your paperwork.
