Stay away from this lender the worst bank ever...and one of the representatives Jordan shamblot?? What a real tool...talks a good show on the phone but I would like to see him in person....this bank is very aggressive and pushy and does not understand that the customer comes first well thats what I think..so if you want a good lender for equipment for your business you do NOT want this place that's for sure
Fair financing, good customer service – I've worked with TCF Equipment Finance for years leasing vehicles for use with my carpentry company. I shopped around before making a decision on this but TCF had very fair rates and I felt comfortable with my rep, Paul. Everything was explained thoroughly and I felt comfortable with the deal when it was finalized. Check their rate out first!!!! – Check out all finance companies before you work with them check. I went to advice-on(add the dotcom) which has an interest rate calculator in their equipment leasing sections. Found out my initial rate was pretty high. That site also gave me the scoop on how to negotiate with them and the tricks that all finance companies use. In the end, I was able to negotiate a much better deal.
Buyer Beware!!!! – This is the worst experience with financing I have ever had. We purchased a commercial vehicle and was referred to TCF for financing. After submitting credit and personal information we had come to finance terms with Tim Bazer, TCF Rep. After delivery of vehicle we received a call from Tim Bazer, TCF, aka; snake oil guy to change terms of payment options. Originally we were to receive a payment book and send monthly payment in.
