Got to this location at 12:50pm, needing to reopen my bank account. Lady at the counter tells me "we close in 9 minutes and it usually takes 20 minutes to open an account, and we don't want you to feel rushed" telling me to come back next weekend. This is the main reason I had stopped using tcf in the first place, service is always bad and inconvenient regardless of it being in-person or on phone.
I have closed my account TWICE. I withdrew all my money and told them to close my account. They claim they did, then keep sending me a $10 fee every month which they refuse to reverse.
I went to the Jewel at Ogden & Cass to sign up for a checking Account at the TCF bank within the store. When I got in line, took about 10 minutes before and made it to the counter, when I told one of the 2 tellers I wanted to sign up for a checking account she brought me into the back room and sat me down at the table where they sign you up.
