Terrible experience would not suggest trying to get your teen a debit card here or any TCF bank.
Banking with TCF turned into a nightmare when i moved down to Arizona and was not notified by TCF they closed all their branches in the Phoenix area. I’m attempting to close on a house and need a cashiers check or wire transfer. Neither of which is can do unless I’m in a branch location apparently. You cant reach out to any specific branches to see if they are open or you need to make an appointment, all TCF has is 1 general number to contact for customer service and they know very little. Switching bank immediately.
Glad to see good reviews for this location. The Lexington location was looted and vandalized, the one inside Cub Maplewood E. Is still closed because of Covid, so I've been looking for a convenient location to the places that I go to. My employer has stopped letting people get $2 in quarters. I hope the lobby is open.
