A while back I got a TCF gift card and TCF Bank would not honor it, I tried to use it and had a very hard time trying to get someone to honor it. Another issue, I called TCF to get information for cashing a business check because I don't have an account with them. They informed me that I had to either get an account with them or I could bring legal documentation with SS# and cash the check. Worst customer service ever. Don't expect to get any money back you put into this bank.
