It has been a year, and they still haven't resolved this. When I called to inquire why their service levels were poor, the call was disconnected. I wasn't being rude or abusive, just questioning their lack of service. Extremely Disappointing Experience I had the unfortunate experience of working with this solicitor, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. From start to finish, it was a complete disaster. Initially, I was quoted £900 for the process of buying a car garage I purchased for £27,000. However, they ended up charging me a staggering £2200, which was a shock and a clear breach of trust. Fantastic Service, Always quick to reply to emails, phone calls etc. Nothing was ever to much trouble and kept me in the loop throughout the whole process of working with them. would definitely use Taylor Rose again.
Myself and my partner bought our first home a couple of months ago and went with this solicitor as recommended by our estate agents. We were both extremely disappointed and frustrated with the lack of service and communication we received, never received an email or phone call back without emailing our solicitor multiple times, the lack of communication between them and the estate agents/vendors solicitors. What was already a very stressful time for us was made even more stressful by our solicitors. Would not recommend.
Very poor service. Forgot to tell us about stamp duty apparently I should have known about it. Im fairly sure the reason I paid a solicitor was to keep me right on the legalities if I could do it my self I'd have saved the money. It then took 15 months to register the property with land registry despite this being a normal 2 to 3 month process. No attempt to up date at any stage. I'd strongly suggest keeping away from this company for house moves they make a stressful situation far worse that it ever needs to be.
