Let me begin by saying that Mike Peters was a close friend for 48 years. We had taken our tax business to Mike for many years until he admittedly made a mistake that he said was being corrected by himself and the IRS. He dragged this out for several years until the statute of limitations had run out and we were left holding the bag for 85,000 plus. Same as the other negative reviews here he quit answering calls etc. PLEASE save yourself the heartache and go elsewhere.

Errors made on back to back tax returns resulted in $10,000 in penalties and interest plus the taxes that were owed, totaling approximately $23,000. We were told for almost 5 years that we did not owe this money, then someone found the mistake and confirmed that in fact the money was owed. Communication was terrible. I left countless messages before anyone responded. The only assistance they provided was a letter asking for penalty abatement, for which less than $1300 was granted. Avoid!! Ryan is extremely prompt and professional. Switched from TurboTax to using him 2 seasons ago and am glad that I did! Priced very reasonably as well.
