Terrible practices. We had agreed on price and then had to wait 3 hours and he charged me over double what was originally quoted. Not sure he is competent to do taxes as he made mistakes. I would stay clear of him.
Not very reliable. I made an appointment in February and my returns were still not ready by April. One excuse after the other. Luckily I was able to find another preparer before the deadline.
Richard Woodford of Tax Factory was referred to me from another tax preparer when he retired. My association with him began in January of 2025. We discussed his practice, experience and pricing. We had been with our previous person for 20 years and had a very reasonable rate that was below what most charge now. Was referred to this company by a former tax advisor and they never answer the phone and when they do, they say they will call back and it’s been a couple weeks and still haven’t heard from them. Poor business practice.
