I've used Gene and Tax strategies group in the past (from 2019 - early 2021) and was initially happy until they stopped answering my calls and ignoring me. Gene and the tax strategies group have been ignoring me, stopped answering my calls, emails, messages, etc. for going on a year now. He has outstanding tasks that have not been completed, even after repeated asking and inquiring. Tax Strategies Group made it so easy to file my tax return and I love the fact that all of my documents are are securely stored on their online portal. Highly recommended!

I had a very bad experience with Gene. He took payment and told me everything was taken care of and that he filed my taxes, but didn't. He would assure me that he was taken care of my tax payments through his multiple portals and he wasn't. He would be annoyed when I asked what payments were going where. I didn't think it was that bad until we were both on the phone with the NY tax department and they asked why he filed for an extension knowing it would not approved since it was filed late!!
