I previously had excellent experiences dealing with Haroon. He was patient, professional, and always took the time to explain things clearly. When I visited this year, I learned he had left, and sadly the experience was not the same. The staff seemed disengaged and unwelcoming, from the front desk onward. It was disappointing compared to the level of service I had received before. Time to find a new spot now.
Had a very good experience with Tax-smart. I wanted to apply for my tax online and got really prompt response and fast service from Bappi. My tax was filed within 10 minutes! I am very satisfied.
AVOID THIS PLACE I was given incorrect expectations about my tax return when I actually got $ those were totally different obviously low. My follow-up emails were completely ignored. During my visit meet the guy BAPPI Instead of answering my original questions I was pushed to open my CRA account on my phone, even though I had already given authorization for them to check it properly. I would not recommend Tax Smart based on my recent experience 2026. After filing my taxes, I was told to expect a refund of around $4,826, but I actually received only about $4,423. When I followed up to understand the discrepancy, the accounting manager Named BAPPI could not provide a clear or confident explanation. Instead threatened me to make changes in my CRA account without my consent in the office. Tax Smart was really good last year, but this year I had a terrible experience filling my 2025 taxes. The staff was totally unprofessional with terrible English speaking skills. He miscalculated my tax returns and expenses for working with Uber, and with his terrible English, I couldn’t understand a single thing he was trying to explain. He was extremely rude and wasted my 1 hour doing miscalculations.
