I found that my application for the Homestead Exemption was accepted in early 2023 but was not reflected in my tax bill reconciliation. I called Ms. Peters, our tax collector, who immediately called the Assessment Office to get it rectified. She was terrifically helpful in resolving this matter and even gave me some relevant information regarding other tax issues.
