My experience is that the staff members of the tax office are very efficient and courteous. I recently paid my real estate taxes in person on the day they were due, but did not have my tax bill with me, just my check. Nevertheless, even with their checking that the amount due and the block/lot were accurate, the time from my signing in at the building door to signing out at the building door was only 2 minutes.
