St. Augustine Floratam sod was fresh and green. The Scott's ProVista St Augustine pallet we received was not good. It looked old and faded. Definitely not fresh. Driver showed up 1.5 hours after our assigned delivery time. Our whole day was screwed up with the sod being delivered after 4:30pm.
I ordered Argentine Bahis sod. The quality is beyond bad. Mainly crabgrass but 11 other varieties are present. I recommend not using them. Pest control company says there is no cure except digging by hand.
After thirty years of trying to keep our original St. Augustine Floratam yard alive, we decided it was time for a more attractive new lawn. We had our sod replaced by Salvador and his crew and they did a fantastic job! The quality of the sod was excellent and the guys all worked incredibly hard. Reasonably priced and Super professional! Both the crew that did the tear-out and the crew that laid the sod were very respectful of the neighbors, cleaning up the road of any debris, and making sure everything was done correctly. Great job! Highly recommended! 5 stars!
Delivered the wrong grass to me on two different occasions in the spring. At first the grass did well, but over the course of the summer (and despite running up my electric bills watering it) the grass has slowly died. How do I know they didn’t deliver the correct grass for full Sun? The other two photos show where I laid down a few replacement pieces in other areas of the yard, and despite being surrounded by by full healthy grass, those pieces are brown too. This cost $700 in sod and who knows how much in water bills.
