I'm long overdue for giving Tassie Car Rentals (TCR) a AWESOME review! I wanted to include photos, which (when you spend 3+weeks in Tas you'll learn, are a lot). SAFE-RELIABLE-FUN and NO-WORRIES rental. We're from the U.S. (no, we didn't vote for him) and found TCR online. We always support local companies when we can. Reached out months in advance and it was easy to arrange. Jim was excellent with communications throughout. We had ZERO issues. Very good car for the price and good service
My Devonport car hire experience with Tassie Car Rentals was excellent. The company has a slightly unconventional approach in that it does not have physical presence at the Spirit of Tasmania Devonport Terminal but Vince is a very efficient communicator and I had no problem locating the pick up and drop off point for the car. The car was very clean and more that adequate for my purposes. I have no hesitations in recommending Tassie Car Rentals.
We rented a medium sized car. Got a great Holden commodore which was spotless . Heaps of room for 4 people and lots of baggage. Also had roof racks which was a bonus for our surfboards. Well priced compared to all other rental companies. Also refunded our money when we had to return it a day early. Awesome service. Highly recommend them!
