Douglas is one of the best yoga teachers I've ever had. His dedication to anatomy and yoga culminate to a safe and relaxing practice every time. The other instructors at tAra are also excellent. The space used to practice is beautiful as well.
A beautiful studio with lovely, engaging teachers. Classes are mainly Yin & Vinyasa, with all levels catered to. The rates are quite reasonable as yoga memberships/class passes go, & they even allow free use of their mats: a rarity in yoga studios nowadays. Congratulations to the teachers & students for creating such a friendly yoga community at the top of Chestnut Hill!
My new yoga home. The space is gorgeous — a small, repurposed old barn-like structure with some gorgeous new dark wooden floors and high ceiling. Highly recommended to go there and practice on a warm day, as instructors often open up the large barn doors to let in the sunshine and sound of birds chirping. The best yoga studio I have ever been to! Excellent atmosphere, lovely instructors, and great location. It has barn doors that are often open in the summers, so you can peak out at the lightning bugs and hear the birds sing. That's just one of the many things I love about this place.
