This is a real co-op, volunteer run, not perfect like anything but way better than anything else I've found. Better prices but not always by a dramatic amount; that plus membership does add up. Become a volunteer and save 25% off most items. They have the freshest and best produce outside of a farmer's market and some pretty good deals. They have some prepared foods which are usually pretty good, but not always consistently stocked. It's small, but I can usually find most of what I want. The moment I walked in for the first and last time the old grey haired woman with the glasses at the register yelled she's closing in 5 minutes and some consideration would be nice since she's a volunteer, "I mean, come on." So I stopped in my tracks, walked over to her and told her I just came in to look at the place and some kindness would be considerate too and walked out.
The sign says it, but is so incredible true “small store with a big heart”. A great corky little store that pulled at my heart strings. The prepared kale salad hits the spot already devoured so I can’t post a photo
