Mid experience, the direct bus route home with no after school activities is fine. But after school buses normally gets extremely crowded with up to 80 students trying to scramble for one bus. Extremely crowded. I would recommend if you live far out in the transit deserts in queens, but other than that, if you live next to the subway, you're probably better off doing that.
