Tennessee released a proposed plan Tuesday to radically overhaul its Medicaid program. Under Tennessee's proposal, the state would become the first in the nation to convert Medicaid into a block grant program. Employees who make less than $35,568 are now eligible for overtime pay under a final rule issued today by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). The new rate will take effect Jan. 1, 2020. IRS Announces 401(k) Contribution Limits for 2020: Employees can contribute $19,500 in 401(k) contributions for 2020, an increase of $500, while the combined employer and employee contribution limit rises by $1,000 to $57,000. For participants ages 50 and over, the additional "catch-up" contribution limit will increase to $6,500, up by $500.
