The best chocolate and candy shop in Tahoe. The Akay’s are extremely knowledge about everything they sell and care very deeply about what they do. No matter what sort of sweet tooth you have, they are sure to have something for you. Plenty of gluten-free, sugar-free, nut-free, and dairy-free options.
With all the delicious choices in there for a chocoholic, it's hard to even know where to begin. First of all, it's great to have places like these, locally owned boutique shops that offer the best in the category. Of course you'll find the usual trays and trays of house chocolates that all scream "pick me, pick me." However, I have a soft spot for fudge and I got a fair sized portion and was it ever so dense, full of flavor and devilishly good.
