I returned to the working world part time September 2024 after a year and half fully retired. I was selective with where I applied as I was tired of the stressful cooperate business world. I am so grateful to have found a position at Tabor Home Society. The Respect and Care from the heart moto doesn’t just apply for the residents but the staff as well. Great efforts are made to make staff feel appreciated and heard. Thankful for the team I work with and the residents I’ve been able to meet.

Wonderful staff. It was a good experience regardless of sometimes the challenges faced. I thoroughly enjoyed going to work each day, just not the traffic. A concern I have is that sometimes I feel that when some people leave employment and are bitter, they sometimes tend to be vindictive and in that spirit, slander and defame people and organizations (unjustifiably) and there are no recourses to challenge the narrative provided for the whole world to see. Tabor Home has been a great place to work. Challenged to learn and use new skills. Flexibility in my schedule to allow for work/life balance. "Caring from the Heart" is really evident by staff.
