I ordered a replacement gas prop for a Herman Miller 20 year old office chair. It arrived in a timely manner, in good shape. Replacement went smooth as advised by an AI advisement but the gas prop wouldn’t hold position. Called up Systems OF main line; the lady at the switchboard had a suggestion to activate the unit but alas didn’t work. She then redirected me to a fellow in the shop/sales who advised that there is a valve sensor adjustment w/in the main chair control housing. Made the adjustment, working fine now. Br... read more
I got a Leap v2 from them. The chair was in good condition. Wouldn’t know it was used after a good wipe. I did have two issues. One was the manual’s black and white picture was a bit confusing for connecting the seat to the cylinder. I feel like they could have used some tape with arrows to tell us where to align everything to make it easier. But this can be solved with YouTube too. After doing a ton of researching and shopping around for close to a month, I recently ordered a refurbished black-on-black Steelcase Leap V2 from Systems Office Furniture (S.O.F.) a couple of weeks ago. The chair features a 3D knit mesh back and a Brisa premium vinyl seat, which is a very unique material combination. Absolutely awesome! From customer service to seriously absolutely like new! Thank you so much for what you do. I would absolutely buy from them again. Do not hesitate, just buy what you want and need from them. I ordered the Herman Miller Aeron Classic on Wednesday evening and had it in my house in the middle of nowhere NJ by 330 pm on Sunday. Screwed the back into place and done.
