We agree! If there would be an option to have NO stars, that would be the choice! This institution is horrible and could care less about their customers! Even when you are in good standings with them, they will shut down your accounts with goofy excuses, which apparently is harming their business with PLENTY of others (reviews we see online). They don’t even follow their own rules with some things, which is great for the customer when it comes to court. ;)
Well, I can see my experience with this company is not unusual. I am an Amazon customer using their cc for my account. Like a lot of customers, I have Autopay set up. I did a pay in 12 on Amazon for a more expensive purchase, but Synchrony's Autopay has no way to honor the 12 month promo, so they pulled out the entire amount of the purchase in one month. Closed account for inactivity. Right as im trying to buy a house..... way to give a headsup.
Dreadfully incompetent team of "professionals" who send you round and round in circles until you finally can't take any more. These people kept bouncing me back and forth to Sleep Number for an error on their end. And they were rude to boot -- not to mention that they will unexpectedly close your accounts without warning if you don't carry a balance. Terrible, unethical institution.
Updated Review: August 2025. It took a year a half to fix the below issues. I'm thankful it's fixed but it took a significant amount of time and energy. Once Verizon Visa fixed their errors. It took Verizon 6 months to do their part. Updated Review: They reinstated the card but since then, my Verizon Dollars do not track properly on the Verizon Visa App. Where the Verizon App does track them properly.
