My son was struggling with Math I, so I signed him up for weekly tutoring at Sylvan in Winston Salem. He was not passing any quizzes or tests in his math class and had no confidence in his abilities. Sylvan got him caught up after a few weeks and after the first month of tutoring he now gets consistent passing grades and even got a 93% on his most recent math test with his confidence restored.
My 10 year old grandson has been using Silvan Learning assistance for the past 3 years. This program has helped him stay at level with his school grade by allowing him to learn at his own pace. He enjoys going to the center and the positive reinforcements he continue to receive motivate him to strive to do better academically.

My daughter started at Sylvan this school year, for help in two subjects. Having that extra time and attention in those two subjects has helped her so much. The tutors have been wonderful and Jess is amazing. She is always willing to help, is flexible and understanding.
