I requested backup care and chose Sylvan UWS. This was done a month prior to the spring break starts so as to make sure to get a space for my child. I did not hear back from them at all. no phones no emails to say its confirmed or not. There is no phone number listed on their website for this location. So I called their customer care who redirected me to the center, but no one picked up the call. I tried multiple times and different days- no response. Sylvan Tutoring did a great job with my daughter Camila, tutoring her in two different periods. I appreciate the kindness of Jose and his always willingness to help in this process. Camila also had wonderful teachers that supported her very well in math and reading and helped her to have great scores at school.

I want to thank Sylvan Upper West Side staff for their dedicated commitment in making a positive change towards academic achievements. I recall procrastinating about enrolling my child due to the costs however observing my child’s struggles got the best of me and I figured it would be more rewarding seeing my child excel rather than to continue to attempt to remedy the issue which clearly wasn’t working out for us at home. We love Sylvan so much! Before my daughter (7 yrs old) started going she wasn't interested in reading and was behind in school. Now, only a couple months later she enjoys reading and has caught up in school. Her speed and comprehension have both improved and she looks forward to going every week!
