My son was struggling in math and reading at the end of 3rd grade last year. Ms. Farheen (Sylvan director) has worked with us to build up his skills to be ahead of his current 4th grade class. The assements are insightful and they communicate very well about progress and areas of concern. The payment plan was helpful and rescheduling days was flexible to accommodate after school functions. My daughter has been attending sylvan since July of last year. We try to make it to 12 sessions a month. Consistency with this program has helped her improve her reading skills. It reflects on her MA testing that she did in her school in the beginning of 1st grade and now. She had some missing skills from kindergarten or needed to brush up those skills and sylvan has really helped her with this. The center director Fahreen is attentive and personalizes the study plan. My 8-year-old son, who is in third grade, has been attending Sylvan Learning Center in Richmond for help with math and reading. We have had an incredibly positive experience, thanks to the wonderful director, Farheen. Farheen has been instrumental in assessing my son's needs and placing him at the appropriate individualized learning level to help him catch up to his peers. Hmm Sylvian has great way of teaching the kids I just don’t really agree why they were teaching my daughter another level below hers and then jump on a whole level that is way advanced… 3 stars
