As Parents we are over the moon! Our Child was struggling in math and frustrated to the point of not wanting to even try anymore. In grade 6 she was assessed at a grade 3.3 (8th percentile) in January of 2025; now in May of 2026 She is at grade 13 (98th percentile) Ms. Jess and the team are amazing; our kiddo went in fighting and screaming in 2025 now in 2026 we gave her the option of the summer off and she CHOSE to continue!!!! My experience with Sylvan learning centre has been absolutely wonderful. My son went from struggling to read to now reading, and the growth I’ve seen in both his skills and confidence has been incredible. Sylvan has created a supportive, encouraging environment where learning feels fun, not stressful. He is always wanting to learn now and genuinely enjoys going, which says so much. Great place! My child has gained her confidence again. The one-on-one support and encouragement that the teachers provide is so helpful to my child. The Director is very approachable and clearly puts the needs of each student first. 100% definitely recommend.
Jess is fantastic director who puts students and their needs first. She is always looking for ways to meet a student where they are right now, whether it's their academic needs, cultural interests, or family situation. I cannot recommend her and the North East Calgary center enough!
