Our son has been attending Sylvan for going on a year now. In this time, he has mastered several challenges in his journey to become a confident reader. We started at about a Kindergarten reading level and are now catching up to where he is needing to be in Third Grade. Sylvan really took his learning back to the basics and worked on phonics and then building up his foundation from there. I was skeptical in the beginning. My son needed support that the school wasn’t fully addressing and I didn’t want him to fall further behind. Sylvan has been an incredible experience. Not only does my son enjoy the sessions, he is thriving and is building confidence in himself that he has done the work and is now seeing success and achievement. Th staff was so patient and transparent with me to keep me informed and involved in the process. I recommend Sylvan. Great investment!

We took our two daughters for tutoring for reading at Sylvan for about 5 months. They have been in a Spanish immersion school so needed to catch up on some English reading, phonics, etc. Our girls really enjoyed their time at tutoring, were engaged and we saw progress in their ability through day to day life as well as academics. The program manager, Matthew kept us informed on their progress and what the study focus was. Overall we had a great experience tutoring with Sylvan.

We had a great experience with Sylvan Learning Center in Lubbock, TX. My son started Sylvan in kindergarten because he was slow to read, falling behind in class, and lacked confidence. He just finished his last session in 2nd grade and is now reading confidently on his own, caught up with his class, and making good grades. Sylvan has gone above and beyond my expectations. When I noticed my daughter was struggling in school I reached out to Sylvan. They were quick to respond ,transparent with the program, explaining everything, and the cost. They have been so very kind and helpful and the teachers there are top notch. So worth it to see my daughter smile again and enjoy school. Thank you Sylvan for all that you do.
