My daughter attends online school, currently in fourth grade. She has attended online school since kindergarten. I knew after finishing third grade she needed more help than I could provide. We reached out Sylvan of Lubbock (after being in town for a couple months, we live on the road). I will admit that I was skeptical at first. Hopeful but skeptical as anyone would be with a "financial investment" but I am so glad we took the risk. Sylvan has far surpassed our expectations! Our 3rd grader was struggling in Reading. In just a few months, we have watched her grades and test scores increase. Sylvan is awesome! My daughter went first when we discovered she had dyslexia. During the program she overcame her struggles and began to read full chapter books with enjoyment. She is currently a junior and now using the SAT program. Looking forward to seeing her results. My son started the program while having convergence issues with his eyes, due to a head injury. Sylvan staff was great as we navigated through vision therapy. They made adjustments during his lessons and have helped him make tremendous gains in his reading... read more

Sylvan is awesome! Our daughter was struggling in school, and falling behind. You could tell that her confidence was slipping, and her frustration was growing. She started to come to Sylvan, and began to excel in Reading and Math. In fact, her confidence was restored and she actually loved going to school to learn. We have seen great improvement in our son's learning at Sylvan Learning Centre. The teachers are extremely encouraging and accommodating, always providing the support needed. The topics are well covered, and any issues are addressed thoroughly and promptly. What's even more impressive is that the child's progress is discussed every month, ensuring continuous growth. It's a fantastic learning environment, and I highly recommend it!
