Our daughter tends to do better with one-on-one instruction, and we are happy with how much Sylvan has instilled the confidence to help her complete assignments and fostered study skills that we hope will encourage her to independently improve herself for years to come. The homework help is also a great support. We are also glad how the scheduling can be flexible especially when our work schedules can sometimes be unpredictable.
Our 10 year old son just finished his tutoring sessions at Sylvan of Cranberry, PA and we could not be happier with the progress he has made. He went from complaining about doing his Math homework to actually enjoying it. The tutors at Sylvan did a great job explaining complex concepts to him in a way that made sense to him. My 13-year-old daughter has been going to Sylvan since summer of 2023 and it has been worth every cent. She does two sessions a week with Miss Kaleen, and I have nothing but great things to say about her and the whole team. My daughter struggled after the pandemic because she did not cope well with online learning platforms. The team at Sylvan has worked with her and helped her regain her confidence in school! I am very happy with Sylvan Learning of Cranberry, they have helped me with payment options and communicate very well with the parent. My son has been going for just about 6 weeks 2x a week and I can already see his progress. He has ADHD and can barley sit through a class in school but he doesn't complain about going to Sylvan and we he comes out of a session he is always in a good mood.
