Great one on one experience, sharpening my sons writing skills.
I had nothing but great service with the prep academy. Both my children have graduated from Sylvan Prep Academy which is the high school section. One has gone onto graduate school and the other graduates in May with 19 credit hours of college credit already behind her. This program has been extremely flexible for learning and made my life much easier. I would use this program again if I had more kids. I am glad this service was available and less expensive than other programs.
My husband and I have our two girls here (one in fifth grade, other in first grade) and they have thrived with this experience! My fifth grader is going on two years here and has excelled so much in her skill-level since starting. The teachers work one-on-one with dedication and commitment with each student. Highly recommend!
Only giving one star just to be able to type a review…otherwise I would give ZERO…these people are crooks…to make a long story short…my 3 children have been with Sylvan since May of 2022 & I have taken out over $14,000 in student loans since…my kids have progressed very little not as much as they said they would…I asked for a refund due to feeling like have been overcharged & not completing all of the services as was told this last loan would take me through next year & was only refunded a total of $3,396…I find it hard to b... read more
The instructors that worked with my daughter were fantastic but I did not really notice much improvement in her studies. My daughter no longer needs Sylvan and I followed the proper procedure stated in the contract to withdrawal my daughter and it has been impossible to get anyone to contact me to confirm our withdrawal. I have sent an email every week for the past month, sent text messages and called the office with NO RESPONSE. The gentleman running this facility should be ashamed at his lack of communication.
