My son struggled with reading and writing in school. As a parent we felt defeated and guilty about our child’s shortcomings with education. We started Sylvan in September and have worked nonstop with the staff and Ms. Jamie. Fast forward to December, my son was due for a reevaluation on his IEP and has scored out of the system! It has been a pleasure thus far working with Sylvan Learning to help my daughter achieve more confidence in her academic abilities. Ms. Jaime, the center manager, has been really helpful in pairing my daughter with the right tutors to help map out a strategic plan for her academic success.
My daughter enjoys going to Sylvan, and I can tell a difference in her reading and math skills as well.
Sylvan at University Area has been amazing for my daughter!!! Our goal was to get her to a 3rd grade reading level by the end of summer, and by the start of her 3rd grade school year. She took the BOG and scored a Level 3 making her proficient for the 3rd grade!! Her tutoring sessions have, and are still paying off! I can only imagine what her EOG score will be. I would highly recommend Sylvan!
