I signed up with Sylvan as an older student. I wanted to refresh my writing skills, as it has been 30+ years since I have been in a formal educational setting. After doing a bit of research, I found Sylvan of Glendale and Ani. They take adult students. Sylvan was the most organized and flexible of the schools. I am very grateful to Sylva learning center,because my child is making very good progress in English education. My child was on very low levels and within a month his levels rose well. I am grateful to our teachers. They make good progress in the academy every day for my child and I am very satisfied.
We have had a wonderful experience with Sylvan learning center. The teachers are caring, patient, and truly dedicated to helping each child succeed. They create a positive, welcoming environment where students feel comfortable, supported, and motivated to learn.
We are very pleased with the tutoring services they have provided! Ani is incredibly understanding, patient, and supportive with both parents and children. Our experience with Sylvan Learning of Burbank was wonderful. Their program provided the extra support our son needed alongside the reading intervention he was receiving at school, helping him accelerate to reading at grade level. The learning environment kept him engaged, especially the token reward system. He loved earning tokens and was motivated to save for the top-shelf prizes, which was a great lesson in delayed gratification and working toward a bigger goal.
