I went here as a child I'm 41 now without them I wouldn't have been able to read and do math I struggled really bad in school I couldn't even enter the cafeteria..at Sylvan I just remember them being so nice and me being able to relax and actually talk to the women without feeling the way I felt at school ...I got a sticker camera silly putty and an umbrella from the prize closet that I remember they had snap bracelets I think too lol I really looked forward to those prizes and even the math games!!that stuff is so important... read more
We love Sylvan! Our oldest has made leaps and bounds with Sylvan's help! The staff are phenomenal! My son enjoys going, especially with the tokens he earns and gets to spend at the gift shop! I am so thankful for finding Sylvan! My son has tried many things and this has been the best yet!
The kind, patient instructors here have consistently encouraged my child while maintaining high expectations. I have appreciated the regular parent/director conferences so I can support specific needs at home. It's also nice to see how the content objectives line up with grade level expectations, but my child works on her identified needs at Sylvan, regardless of what her class may be working on at school. Very thorough and knowledgeable. Willing to consult with teachers and attend meetings. Our son has loved being there and one month in we are already seeing a difference in his skills and confidence as a reader. So glad we decided to do this!
